About Us
The pediatric practice of Kintiroglou Pediatrics is committed to providing the highest level of care to the infants, children and adolescents that we serve.
Our general pediatric practice was started by Dr. Constantinos Kintiroglou in 1981 in Livingston, NJ. The practice was founded following a career as a Neonatologist at the St. Barnabas Medical Center Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Dr. Kintiroglou also served as the director of Ambulatory Pediatrics at St. Barnabas Medical Center.
He was joined by his son, Dr. John Kintiroglou, in 2000, in our practice facility in West Orange. Dr. John Kintiroglou completed his residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in the Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Lisa Pivawer joined the practice in 2004 following completion of her pediatrics residency at North Shore University Hospital and a short stay at a pediatric practice in NYC. Dr. Elina Nachevnik joined the ninpractice August 2011. Dr. Elina completed her residency from Cornell in 2002 and comes aboard after serving as a hospitalist at St. Barnabas Medical Center for the past nine years. Lauren Kohlberg, CPNP joined the practice July 2005. Lauren attended the University of Rochester and graduated in 1999 with a BSN in nursing. She then went on to get a Master’s degree in advanced pediatric nursing from Rutgers University in 2005.
Our administrative and clinical staff are dedicated to bringing you the best in pediatric healthcare. Our staff has a simple yet significant mission: We strive to deliver the finest medical care to our infants, children and young adult patient by establishing close relationships with them as well as their families.
